Should Single Moms Go Out on a Date on Valentine’s Day?


Single moms continue to attract the opposite sex.  Some single moms are contemplating on going back to the dating world while some have already taken the first steps to dating again. For those who have just opened the doors to dating again, it is a big question if they should go out on a date on Valentine’s Day.

Some of the reasons why single moms shy away from dating on Valentine’s Day are:

1.  Their new found friend might think that this single mom is seriously considering a relationship. Some guys believe that since Valentine’s Day is a day of romance, a single mom agreeing to have a date on Valentine’s Day is a hint that that their relationship is progressing to a higher level. This is one of the things, a single mom avoids,... misunderstandings.


2.  A Valentine date might bring back good memories which ultimately turned sour. A single mom aims to keep bad memories at bay.

3.  Single moms are afraid of what others may say. Friends and her family may not approve of the idea. Single moms just want to avoid issues and complications in her life.
 
4.  Single moms are afraid that their kids will not approve of the date. This is a major issue. 

There are so many reasons why single moms avoid dating on Valentine's Day. But should they really have to?

Ponder, then decide. What do you really want? What is your plan? Should you live your life pleasing others or would you rather have it your way? Are you willing to compromise? 

Issues are always resolved through proper communication. Whatever you decide, you must be able to convey the right message.
