If you are not familiar with the employer’s office, visit it a day before your interview to give you an idea of how much time you need to get there from your home. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your interview to give you time to freshen up and relax.

If you're doing a phone interview, make sure you're well-prepared before the interview starts. Make sure your resume is within clear view. You should have a short list of accomplishments ready to review. For note taking, have paper and a pen handy.
